Daily life of a couple in a coastal town of Puerto Rico is forever transformed by the arrival of an old friend who to their surprise, did not die in Vietnam, as they had been told. To further the events that will mark their lives, an Argentine writer comes to spend some time in their community, to write a novel. The drama unfolds for these four middle-aged characters in a Caribbean setting, surrounded by the ocean, fishermen's tales and local music to render this passionate story a tale of love and loss of small towns and destiny when outsiders disrupt everyday life.
