From case cover:<br/>Paul (Matthias Schweighöfer) hat einen recht ungewöhnlichen Beruf: Er ist professioneller „Schlussmacher“. Für eine Berliner Trennungswunsch seiner Kunden an deren zukünftigen Ex-Partner zu übermitteln. Dabei hat er sich mit der Zeit unempfindlich gegenüber emotionalen Ausbrüchen der Verlassenen gemacht, denn schließlich bringt jede Trennung bares Geld und lässt eine Beförderung zum Unternehmenspartner ein Stück näher rücken. Noch dazu läuft es bei ihm - im Gegensatz zu seinen Kunden - liebestechnisch äußerst gut, denn er genießt sein Privatleben an der Seite von Freundin Natalie (Catherine de Léan). Gerade als Paul seine wichtigste Trennung über die Bühne bringen will, kommt ihm der anhängliche Toto (Milan Peschel) in die Quere und bringt Pauls Karriereplanung und sogar sein Liebesleben komplett durcheinander.
