From case cover (All versions):<br/>Don Pablo, alcalde y propietario del café más importante del pueblecito castellano de Villar del Río, ha contratado a la máxima estrella de la canción andaluza, Carmen Vargas, para que actúe en su local. Todo el pueblo está ilusionado ante tan importante acontecimiento artístico y cultural. Pero muy pronto esa expectación pasa a un segundo plano tras la llegada de un delegado general y sus tres secretarios que anuncian la inminente visita de una representación estadounidense que viaja por el país, pueblo. <br/>Don Pablo desea agasajarlos con limonada o sangría, pero el delegado general, que ha prometido hacer llegar el ferrocarril a Villar del Río, espera del alcalde una recepción con fuegos artificiales y banderitas. Manolo, agente, mentor, pianista y 'dama de compañía' de Carmen Vargas, convence a la junta municipal de transformar el pueblo castellano en andaluz para agradar más a los ilustres visitantes. Todos los habitantes empiezan a transformar el pueblo y sí mismos en tópicas estampas andaluzas y a fantasear con los sueños que materializarán los anhelados. |
