From case cover:<br/>Esta es la historia de una familia compuesta por una madre anciana y esclerótica, Mamá Cora y sus cuatro hijos, Sergio, Jorge, Antonio y Emilia. Mamá Cora vive en casa de Jorge y Susana, un hogar pequeño lleno de privaciones, donde la convivencia se hace difícil, debido a la torpeza y falta de memoria de la anciana. La situación explota un día y Susana, en plena crisis nerviosa, les pide a sus parientes vecinos que se hargan cargo de su suegra. Pero las tensas conservaciones revelan la hipocresía y falta de solidaridad de estos frente al problema de Susana y Jorge, quienes al volver a casa no encuentran a Mamá Cora. Alarmados por su ausencia emprenden averiguaciones que los llevan a la morgue, donde confuden el cadáver de una anciana suicida con el cuerpo de su madre. Finalmente y luego de un periplo por el barrio, Mamá Cora hace irrupción en el velatorio, creando gran conmoción y alegría en sus atribulados hijos, quienes tratan de ocultar el verdadero motivo de la infrecuente presencia de toda la familia reunida.<br/><br/> |

From IMDb:<br/>Mamá Cora (Antonio Gasalla) is about 80 years old and she has three sons and a daughter. Mamá lives with one of them, unfortunately, the one who is in the worst economic position. One day, all the members of the family have a reunion to celebrate an anniversary. In the middle of the whole thing, an awkward question appears out of nowhere: ¿Who's going to be Mamá Cora's heir? ¿Who is going to take care of her during her last days in this world?. The answer is not easy and it doesn't take too long for the members of this bizarre family to start a terrible and yet hilarious fight. However, in the middle of the whole thing, they're interrupted by some disturbing breaking news...Mamá Cora killed herself!. |
