From case cover:<br/>Alos 32 años, El Zapa (Jorge Román) es cerrajero en un pueblo pequeño y tranquilo de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Su vida rutinaria transcurre lentamente entre contados trabajos de cerrajería y casi ninguna actividad adicional. Hasta que es detenido por la policía local y acusado de robo por abrir una caja fuerte a instancias del dueño de la cerrajería, un hombre al que le dicen El Polaco y que desaparece inmediatamente después del suceso. Su tío Ismael, policía retirado, logra sacarlo de la comisaría y lo manda con una carta de recomendación al Gran Buenos Aires donde El Zapa se convertirá en un joven aspirante a agente de la Policía Bonaerense.
