A Guerra dos Pelados, 1971 (98')<br/>Encerra-se depois que os pelados sofreram duro golpe em Taquaruçu, onde 700 soldados da República os fazem recuar e fugir para Caraguatá. As cenas finais são dos sobreviventes, a cavalo e a pé, rumando para Caraguatá, já sob liderança de resistência de Adeodato e sob liderança espiritual de Ana, a jovem com 15 anos de idade. <br/><br/>Guerra do Brasil, 1987 (104')<br/>Entre 1864 e 1870, a América do Sul é palco do maior e mais sangrento con¬flito armado do século, conhecido como a “Guerra do Paraguai”, ou “Guerra Grande”, para os paraguaios. Misturando realidade e ficção, o doc debate este “ensaio” da I Guerra Mundial, que envolveu Brasil, Argentina, Uruguai e Pa¬raguai, vitimando em torno de um milhão de pessoas. No filme entrelaçam-se a história oficial, o imaginário popular e a crítica de militares, cronistas e his¬toriadores, articulado a um complexo painel iconográfico e musical, e a um resgate visual do teatro de operações no Paraguai. |
