Temiendo la sangrienta represión que se avecinaba, muchos republicanos huyen del país pero otros no pueden o no quieren. Como las jóvenes muchachas protagonistas de esta historia real. Franco premete que solamente serán castigados los que tengan las manos manchadas de sangre. Y ninguna de esas chicas las tiene. “Las 13 rosas” cuenta la historia de trece muchachas, conocidas como “las menores”, que fueron fusiladas el 5 de agosto de 1939 en las tapias dek cementerio de la Almudena de Madrid.
