From case cover:<br/>Don Mariano Agüero, un viejo patriarca idealista derrotado por los sueños incumplidos, y por la ausencia de su mujer, se abandona a una muerte en vida. A su alrededor, la codicia y la maligna indiferencia de su familia cubre de una niebla opresiva la vieja mansión. La llegada de Rosita, una enigmática y misteriosa joven, comienza a disipar lentamente la bruma des desamor para despertar a Don Mariano, pero los parientes y allegados del anciano ven con indisimulada desconfianza e inquietud la influencia que la recién llegada puede ejrecer sobre el jefe de la familia, cuya muerte esperan para disponer de lo que queda de su fortuna. Los demás residentes de la casa también sufren las consecuencias de la nueva situación, y se disponen entonces a empuñar las armas para proteger sus bienes, sus afectos, o hasta su libertad de la inesperada amenaza. Sin embargo, Rosita no impone otra arma que el amor, y con su magia se encargará lentamente de desandar un camino que llevaba al abismo.<br/><br/>From IMDb:<br/>An older man named Don Mariano lives in a very large house with his grown-up children and hired help. One day he tries to kill himself, but fails and instead goes into a deep depression. However, a young lady named Rosita comes to stay in the house, and she starts to take care of the bed-stricken Don Mariano using her charm and witch powers. The two of them fall in love, and meanwhile his immediate children do all they can in hopes of getting the inheritance. In the end, Don Mariano and Rosita must flee from the greedy children. |
