Así el cine, un arte que aún no ha cumplido su primer siglo, nos ha legado una visíon -discutible o no- de las grandes obras de la literatura universal. Aquí, la cinematografía se ha puesta al servicio de un pensamiento. Jorge Luis Borges, con seguridad el más importante escritor argentino, recorre su ciudad y sus viencias. Con se genial visíon literaria universal por un lado y su argentinismo de pura cepa por el otro, nutriéndose en el pasado nacional y en el viejo Buenos Aires, Borges nos pasea con mastería por los recovecos de su pensamiento.
