From case cover (Barcode #000216):<br/>Espana 1960. Dos amigos. Martin y Marcos, deciden marcharse a Suiza en busca de trabajo. Dejan a sus familias en Espana y emprenden un viaje hacia una nueva vida en la Europa del progreso y las libertades. Alli descubriran una mentalidad muy diferente a la que deberan adaptarse, trabajando como mecanicos en una fabrica y viviendo en un pequefto pueblo industrial. Con la llegada de Pilar, la mujer de Martin, con su hijo Pablo, y de Mari Carmen, la novia de Marcos, se les termina la vida de hombres solteros que llevaban en un pais con tanta libertad. El trabajo sigue siendo el dia a dia de Martin y Pilar, mientras el pequeno Pablo comienza a it al colegio y a integrarse. Con la muerte del padre de Martin, se plantean que lo que habian ido a buscar ya lo han conseguido y es hora de regresar. From IMDb:<br/>Spain, 1960. Two friends named Martin and Marcos decide to look for jobs in Switzerland. They leave their families behind in Spain and head off on their journey to the free, progressive part of Europe. They will have to adapt to a very different way of life there, working as mechanics at a factory and living in a small industrial town. The arrival of Martin's wife Pilar and son Pablo, and Marcos' girlfriend Maria del Carmen, marks the end of the bachelor life they were living in a country with lots of freedom. Martin and Pilar's everyday life is their work, while little Pablo starts going to school and making the new place his home. When Martin's father dies, they realize they've already got what they went there for and it's time to return. Much to their susprise, going home is much harder than leaving was. |
