<br/><br/><br/>El franquismo es un periodo clave en la historia de España: 36 años de la dictadura de Francisco Franco que comenzó en 1939, tras su victoria en la guerra civil, y finalizó con su muerte en 1975. Una época dura que transformó el país: de posguerra la miseria y las penurias de la autarquía económica a la bonanza del desarrollismo, de la represión contra los republicanos a la lucha por las libertades de una nueva generación de españoles.<br/>A través de cuatro episodios, y gracias a un complejo proceso técnico, se han digitalizado y coloreado archivos de los fondos de la Filmoteca Española y de otros archivos nacionales e internacionales. Además de rescatar documentos inéditos -la marcha verde, la convalecencia hospitalaria de Franco...- la serie mantiene el nivel de rigor histórico de ESPAÑA DIVIDIDA: LA GUERRA CIVIL EN COLOR, siendo analizada y contextualizada por un variado grupo de historiadores entre los que se encuentran su asesor histórico, Santos Julia, junto a Paul Perston y Fresnando Gracia de Cortazar. |

<br/><br/><br/>Francoism is a key period in the history of Spain: 36 years of Francisco Franco's dictatorship that began in 1939, after his victory in the civil war, and ended with his death in 1975. A tough time that transformed the country: from post-war misery and the hardships of economic autarchy to the bonanza of developmentalism, from the repression against the republicans to the fight for the freedoms of a new generation of spaniards.<br/>Through four episodes, and thanks to a complex technical process, archives from the collections of the Spanish film library and other national and international archives have been digitized and colored. In addition to rescuing unpublished documents- the green march, Franco's hospital convalescence...- the series maintains the level of historical rigor of DIVIDED SPAIN: THE CIVIL WAR IN COLOR, being analyzed and contextualized by a varied group of historians among the which include its historical advisor, Santos Julia, along with Paul Perston and Fresnando Gracia de Cortazar. |
