From case cover:<br/>Frente de Rusia, invierno de 1943. Un batallón de la División Azul se topa con una serie de cabezas de caballos esparcidas sobre la superficie congelada de un lago. Los cuerpos están sumergidos bajo el hielo. Junto a uno de los caballos, el cadáver de un soldado español. Un tajo le atraviesa el cuello de lado a lado, y en el pecho tiene una inscripción grabada a cuchillo: "Mira que te mira Dios". Los mandos encargan la investigación al soldado Arturo Andrade (Juan Diego Botto) exinspector de la policía, que asume la tarea con rigor y profesionalidad, ayudado por el sargento Espinosa (Carmelo Gómez). Ambos pronto descubren que detrás de este asesinato se oculta una perversa venganza, que se remonta a agravios acontecidos en el pasado, y que no parece que se vaya a detener en un único cadáver. Nadie está libre de sospecha ni nadie puede sentirse seguro.
