Summary: From case cover: Dumitru Costa e un tânăr procuror aflat la primul său caz: moartea suspectă a unui miner din Valea Jiului. întrebarea e: a fost accident sau crimă? Costa este ajutat de Alina, o ingineră de care seîndrăgosteşte. între timp, alţi doi mineri sunt ucişi într-o galerie de mult închisă. Investigaţia lui Costa deranjează autorităţile locale. Pe măsură ce adevărul iese la iveală, Costa îşi dă seama că absolut nimeni nu vrea să-l ştie. Dumitru Costa, a young Public Prosecutor, is given his first investigation: the suspicious death of a miner in the Jiu Valley, in nowadays Romania. Accident or murder? Costa is assisted by Alina, a survey engineer. They fall in love. Meanwhile, two other miners are killed in a long before closed gallery. Costa’s enquiry upsets the local authorities. As truth is revealed, Costa realizes that absolutely nobody wants his truth.
