Barcelona, finales de los 60. Eugenio Jofra, un joven joyero, conoce a Conchita en un autobús de línea. El flechazo es instantáneo y los dos comienzan la historia de amor de sus vidas. Eugenio aprende a tocar la guitarra para acompañar a Conchita, pero a la pareja le cuesta encontrar su sitio en el mundo artístico. Empiezan su carrera musical como "Els Dos". Cuando Conchita se siente insegura en el escenario, le pide a Eugenio que lleve las actuaciones a cabo él solo. Cuando Eugenio, de repente, se convierte en un icono del humor underground de la ciudad. Poco a poco su éxito crece construyendo al personaje más icónico de la televisión.
