Summary: From case cover During Korea's Chosun dynasty, two wandering minstrels - acrobatic Jang-sang and drag actor Gong-gil - find they have a smash hit on their hands with a raucous mockery of their hen-pecked king. But when the palace hears of this satire, they are sentenced to execution - unless they can make the king laugh. And laugh he does - but palace intrigue, the King's jealous concubine and his obsessive fascination with Gong-gil threaten to bring them all down.
