The story is set during Japan's Sengoku Jidai (Era of the Warring States) and centers on Furuta Sasuke, a vassal of the great warlord Oda Nobunaga and a man obsessed with tea ceremony and material desires in his pursuit of a fortuitous life. Having learned from Oda and the legendary tea master Sen no Soueki, Furuta walks the way of the Hyouge Mono. The Legend of the Warring States Ghost Talent is set in the Warring States Period, when the heroes were divided. The protagonist Furuta Saosuke is a vassal of Oda Nobunaga. As a samurai and Yashi, he learned a magnificent worldview from the genius Nobunaga and pursued the opportunity to succeed. However, after the tea saint Qianzong Yi learned the profound spirit, he became a tea ceremony. And the man who steals the soul with material desires. In the pen of Yoshihiro Yamada, he used a funny and realistic way to describe how Furuta Zaosuke became a talented artist who integrates flower ceremony, tea ceremony, architecture and pottery, and how his life was in the Warring States Period. Yoshihiro Yamada vowed to use the most interesting method to lead everyone to see how Furuta Zaosuke insisted on his own "ghost talent" path.
